2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and any additional policies referenced herein. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

3. Eligibility

To use our Platform, the individual for whom the account is being created must:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have the legal right and capacity to agree to these Terms.
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.

Aussie Matrimony Connect does not independently verify users' ages or identities. By registering and using the Platform, you confirm that either you, or the individual for whom the account is being created, meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years. If we become aware that the individual associated with an account is under 18, we reserve the right to terminate the account immediately and without prior notice.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Platform solely for lawful marriage matchmaking purposes.
• Not use the Platform for any commercial purposes outside of its intended use.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account and be responsible for all activities under it.
• Not engage in any abusive, fraudulent, or harmful behavior toward other users or the Platform.

7. Indemnification

By using the Platform, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Aussie Matrimony Connect, its affiliates, directors, employees, and service providers from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of the Platform during the public preview phase.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your infringement of any third-party rights.

8. No Background Checks

Aussie Matrimony Connect does not conduct background checks, verify the accuracy of information, or guarantee the reliability of user profiles. All profile information is self-reported by users, and we do not confirm or validate its authenticity.

By using the Platform, you acknowledge and accept that interactions with other users, including communication, connections, or arrangements made through the Platform, are solely at your own risk. We strongly encourage users to exercise caution and take appropriate measures to verify any information before proceeding with matches or personal interactions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Australian law, Aussie Matrimony Connect, its affiliates, and any future directors, employees, or service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform during the public preview phase. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Loss of data, revenue, or anticipated profits.
• System failures or interruptions.
• Errors or omissions in the Platform’s functionality.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.

12. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting Aussie Matrimony Connect. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be resolved by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA), with the place of arbitration being Sydney, Australia.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, policies, or legal obligations. Updates will be posted on the Platform with the Effective Date, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Email Communication

By registering for and using Aussie Matrimony Connect, you agree to receive essential transactional emails related to the operation of the Platform. These include, but are not limited to:

• Account verification and activation
• Password reset instructions
• Notifications about Platform updates and account activity

Marketing or promotional emails, such as newsletters or special offers, will only be sent if you have provided explicit consent during registration or within your account settings. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link included in these communications or by updating your email preferences in your account.

We use Resend, a trusted third-party email service provider, to manage email communications. Resend may store or process email data on servers located in the United States or other jurisdictions. By using the Platform, you consent to the processing and transfer of your email-related data in these locations. Resend adheres to industry-standard security protocols to protect your information during transmission and storage.

Please note that essential transactional emails are necessary for the proper functioning of the Platform and cannot be opted out of.
